Right, lets take a moment. A lot has happened in the last few videos, and they’ve been rather dense.
On the plus side, you’ve already learnt how to use the Colossyan video framework to design your video. So in this video, we’ll focus on some of the things you’ll need to bring your vision to life, like selecting different Avatars, voices, and even how to create conversations. To change your Avatar, you can either select the avatar on the scene, or select the avatar button in the top bar. As you can see, there are a few options here. I can opt to change Jason here, to a different Avatar. When you select this, you’ll only see the Avatars that are available to you based on your plan. I’ll select Nina for now.I can also opt to apply Nina to all scenes at this point if I want to.Lets do that. To change the voice over, I can select the name of the voice actor at the bottom of the side bar.
I can then search or filter, or just look through the different options.I’ll go ahead and select Abbi instead, then apply to all. To create a conversation, start off by selecting the script button, then the tab for conversation. You’ll see that you need to add at least one additional avatar for this.Once you’ve selected one, you can customise them before heading back into the conversation area.
These two avatars support side view, so I can really make it look like the Avatars are having a conversation! Pretty neat right?Once i'm done putting them on the screen, I can change what they say like this!So as promised, a simpler video, but being able to select new avatars, change voices, simulate conversations and even upload your own audio are a big part of using Colossyan, so it made sense to spend a little more time on this. Next up, we’ll dive into adding media, music and text to your scenes, as we continue through the development phase of the ADDIE process. See you there!
