Hello Global Community!

A huge thank you to all who joined our webinar, The Business Imperative: AI in Learning and Training as a Strategic Investment! Your engagement, insightful questions, and global perspectives – from San Diego to Barcelona – made this a truly dynamic session.

Below, you’ll find a recap of everything we covered during this session. Or, you can watch the full replay here:

Understanding the challenge

According to Gartner’s 2025 CIO Agenda, only 48% of digital initiatives meet or exceed business targets. That’s worse than a coin toss. Yikes!

Among the reasons many digital initiatives fail is that there is an assumption that if you build it, they will come. On the contrary, the wise innovator stays close to IT, and other Chief Experience Officers in order to identify shared needs, metrics, and requirements.

The solution

Chief Learning Officers and other Chief Experience Officers must partner with IT to deploy AI solutions end-to-end. This collaboration ensures AI-driven L&D initiatives align with corporate strategy, and promotes co-creation among builders and users of technology to deliver expected business results.

Our guest Avinash Chandarana shared his experience aligning L&D with corporate strategy through his work at MCI Group creating learning resources and promoting the platform internally.

His recommendation: understand how your business area supports the greater vision.

In Avinash’s case, this included employee awareness and leveraging L&D to facilitate the adoption of AI among leaders at the organization. This underscores the importance of being able to create internal awareness for stakeholder adoption.

The execution

Leveraging tools like Colossyan’s AI-powered video solutions can help businesses integrate AI seamlessly across their organizations to drive efficiency, agility, and revenue growth.

As Avinash highlighted, the key in his success was not starting with the technology, but with the end goal of mind and mapping out how L&D played a role throughout the vision, and AI maturity model of the organization.
